The Results

Firstly, if you filled in and returned your questionnaire, thank you very much.

Apologies for the delay in circulating this note but the response from 122 households was overwhelming and it has taken much longer than we had expected to collate and undertake an initial analysis of the results. The results can be found;

What happens next?

The questionnaire, although interesting, is only the first stage of the process. We now need to create the Village Plan which will action some of the key issues raised from analysing the results of the questionnaire. With this in mind and in order that everyone who wants to attend is able to do so, there will be two meetings held in the village hall at 7.30pm on Wednesday 21st February and Tuesday 6th March 2007. Among the topics for discussion will be:-

  • Village shop
  • Speeding in the village
  • ( any others please - we’re trying to spur people on to come along ! )

Please put these dates in your diary NOW ! We will only be able to move the Village Plan to the next stage if those people that responded to the questionnaire and who feel strongly about some or all of the issues are prepared to contribute their time to help.

Success Stories

We have already had some real successes as a result of the impetus behind the Village Plan. This website is up and running and a big thank you to those who have volunteered to form a group to manage and develop what should be a real asset to the village .The ‘ Village Days’ held on selected Sundays during the summer were also deemed a great success by the many that joined in on some sunny and not so sunny days! The intention is to make these bigger and better next year.
