Hi Neil,

I've been using the WikiSysop account, I must stop that. I'll delete 'Paul' and use 'PaulMooney' instead.

I like what you've done with the commercial page but can you make your section smaller? I think we have rather a lot of businesses in Grendon so that page is going to become crowded :)

You've been made a Bureacrat!

I've changed your accounts permissions so you have super user access now (you are a bureacrat and a sysop). That means you can do as you like on the website, for example you can create new users. I'll email you seperately about that...

The problem is you have to have an account to leave a message. It might be better if we just say email Paul or Neil...

New users

I saw your email earlier, good idea creating new users pre-emptively. Lets hope they join in.

Father David says I can use what I like out of the Parish News. He is often given hand written notes which someone else types up for him and copies it to a floppy disk. It eventually makes its was into the Parish News. Hence we need to target the young!

Web site upgrade

Hi Neil, I plan to do a minor upgrade to the software this evening if all goes to plan. Since I've changed email address/computers I don't have Bills & Johns email address to hand (or yours), hence I'm going through your talk page...


I've made backups as of 15:00 2007-03-19 in case I stuff things up.

The link may say 1.5.6 but we're actually running 1.6.10 now. Please try out the site to make sure it works. So far it is fine for me.

There is/was a problem with internet exploder displaying the login link, I'm hoping this will have helped but I can't test it right now as I'm on a Mac...
